It's official. We're having a BOY!!! We had our big 2nd trimester ultrasound this afternoon. The measurements are in and Baby A is 8 inches long right now and weighs 9 ounces. He's actually an entire week ahead of schedule in terms of growth and development...which is Great news. They won't change our official due date unless he is over a week ahead of schedule so I guess we'll see how the next appointment goes (in 4 weeks). Since we'll be induced early, this is great news b/c every little bit of weight counts. It took the ultrasound technician about a second to find his little boy parts. Little Baby A was spread eagle on the screen and was very cooperative for all of his measurements. Everything looks great! So our little man is strong and healthy. He was bouncing all around at the beginning. The u/s technician printed out about 3o pictures for us and she actually switched on the 4D during the session...Very cool. It was crazy to be able to see him so clearly. When we tried to get a good picture of his face, he flipped over and did a handstand...then buried his face in the bottom of my belly. He also gave us the "thumbs up" sign through the 1st half. We saw his fingers and toes wiggle. We saw his lips move. It was the coolest day of my entire life.

Yay! So great! Congratulations on expecting a son! Those 4D ultrasounds are awesome...out baby was hiding his/her face too :) So glad everyone is happy and healthy!
